Position: Project Officer for AMENCA ll Project
Duration: 8 months to April 30th, with possibility of extension. Starts immediately.
Location: Hebron Office

About Asala: Asala is a Palestinian development organization that contributes to empowering Palestinian women living in poverty to positively change their economic and social status through the provision of financial and non-financial services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Travel regularly to field locations and projects’ sites (cites, villages and camps) of Hebron district.
-Coordinate, prepare, conduct and monitor all activities in the field related to Asala (training, counseling, public meetings in the field, etc.) in Hebron District.
-Follow up and report on all tasks related to AMENCA ll project in Hebron, including reporting on all activities, tasks, and results to management as required with respect to deadlines and action plans.
-Collect and analyze data and write comprehensive reports related to all assigned tasks.
-Participating in all relevant training workshops, meetings, and project activities and events as required.
-Identify, investigate and propose feasible alternatives to any challenges to better improve the services and projects’ results and outcomes.
-Assist with logistical/technical implementation of projects when needed
-Cooperate and coordinate with the team to ensure the best interest and performance at ASALA
-Execute any other tasks required by supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
-Relevant work experience in working with community-based organizations, women’s social and economic empowerment, and working in rural communities
-Fluency in oral and written Arabic. Strong skills in oral and written English
-Strong organizational skills
-Skilled communicator
-Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), MIS, and internet
-Outgoing, active personality
-Detail oriented
-Lives in Hebron area
