Position: Property Management Specialist/engineer
Location: Ramallah with frequent travel in the West Bank
Position background and requirements
In the framework of the European Union Funded project “Technical assistance to support the High Judicial Council in Palestine”, Justice Coopération Internationale, mandated body of the French Ministry of Justice for development cooperation in the Justice/Rule of Law sector, is currently recruiting a Property management specialist/engineer.

Position background and requirements
In the framework of the European Union Funded project “Technical assistance to support the High Judicial Council in Palestine”, Justice Coopération Internationale, mandated body of the French Ministry of Justice for development cooperation in the Justice/Rule of Law sector, is currently recruiting a Property management specialist/engineer.
Project Monitoring
-Regular site visits to the projects.
-Review, designs and establishing baseline data and other documents
generated by each project site, in close cooperation with the High
Judicial Council Facility Manager.
-Monitor and quality assurance spot checks on each project site.
-Monitor project activities, ensuring works are carried out in
accordance with the project contracts, specifications and timelines.
-Supervise procurement process, and contribute to the approval process of samples and mockup rooms as required by HJC.
-Written and verbal translations as required.
-Any other business as directed by the supervisor designated by the project and HJC.
Education
-a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
Work Experience
-Minimum 5, recommended 7 years of demonstrable experience of
undertakings in a construction environment, site supervision and project
management.
-Proven experience of construction procedures and methods in the Palestine.
-excellent IT skills Experience to measure the implementation on site accurately.
-Understanding of the inter-relationship between bills, specifications and drawings.
-Understanding of construction contracts and sub contract terms and conditions.
-Ability to work and communicate as part of a multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team.
-Understanding of Health & Safety issues at work and on site.
Key Competencies
-Professionalism: Strong analytical and organizational skills; Eye for detail and accuracy;
-Experience with database software/web applications; The ability to work
quickly, under pressure and to deadlines; Up-to-date knowledge of
technology and Construction Standards;
-Ability to travel to all districts in west bank.
Languages
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
