Civil Police Senior Coordinator

Tetra Tech DPK is implementing the Justice Sector Assistance Project (JSAP) III under a contract funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). JSAP III supports the Public Prosecution Offices (PPOs), the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) and the Military Justice Commission across the West Bank.

JSAP III is seeking to hire qualified personnel to fill the following positions:

Civil Police Senior Coordinator

Primary tasks of the Civil Police Senior Coordinator include:
-Assist the Deputy Chief of Team (DCOT) and the Criminal Justice Advisor in the administration of JSAP activities with the PCP and Preventive Security Organization;
-Participate in strategic planning for JSAP programs including playing a role in development of technical proposals, budgeting and action plans;
-Conduct needs assessments, produce reports, policy papers and research;
-Responsible for communications with counterparts including drafting letters and correspondence;
-Coordinate appropriate training activities;
-Participate in the design of the project's Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan and assist in data coordination;
-Supervise the Civil Police Assistant Coordinator.

Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
-Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or Police Science university degree;
-Experience working with international development projects particularly in criminal justice reform;
-Experience in legal research, drafting, analysis and criminal justice reform;
-Solid computer, reporting and communication skills;
-Ability to work within a team and under pressure;
-Ability to travel across the West Bank.
