Two Accounts Managers, Supply Chain Optimization

The Trade Project is a USAID-funded program operating in Ramallah, West Bank. The purpose of the Trade Project is to expand Palestinian private sector economic growth through reduced barriers to trade and investment. The project began in March 2013 and is expected to be three to five years in duration.

The Trade Project seeks for two experts in International Supply Chain Management to serve as Accounts Managers for up to 20 West Bank firms.
The Accounts Manager will assist client firms in assessing and implementing supply chain efficiencies, especially as they relate to freight forwarding, customs clearance, inspection and documentation.

Duties

-Conduct informational meetings and seminars

-Respond to business inquiries

-Manage components of a communication plan

-Coordinate with Chambers of Commerce and business associations

-Work closely with Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to provide data for the performance monitoring plan

Qualifications

-At least 2 years experience in supply chain management, with direct experience importing goods

-Expert knowledge of freight forwarding, customs broker process and import/ export regulations as they relate to West Bank based importers and exports

-Proficiency in Arabic and English

-University degree or equivalent in business, supply chain or related field.

This position reports to the Team Leader, Logistics.
